LCCMedia Foundation and Dexteritas Inc are excited to announce that community-free tax clinics will open on 1st March 2023 at two locations in Edmonton and Calgary.
The Calgary location will be based at the Calgary Full Gospel Church at 917 14 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R 0N8. The hours of operation at the Calagry office are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10 am – 5 pm.
The Edmonton location will be from the Africa Centre, 11808 St Albert Trail NW #106, Edmonton, Ab T5L 4G4. The dates and times are to be confirmed.
The Executive Director of LCCMedia Foundation, Tayo Elnathan, told the volunteers at the first volunteer training that “she was excited by the volunteer turnout this year. She hoped that Calgarians and Edmontonians will access the service in droves when both centres open on the 1st of March 2023″.
She asked volunteers ” to remember that they would be dealing with low-income community members who had a lot on their plate already, i.e the cost of living crises; she urged them to work efficiently with kindness and compassion.”
